Chelsea and Heath’s Waterfront Wedding at the Bali Hai Restaurant in San Diego, California

Yesterday, today, tomorrow…

… and the day after that! Chelsea and Heath said yes to forever on July 10, 2021. They exchanged vows in front of friends and family on the water at the Bali Hai restaurant in Point Loma. We started the day at the Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn where the bride and groom stayed in separate rooms.

In the bride’s room, the ladies enjoyed their beauty treatments and cocktails. This was the first time that Chelsea’s mother got a makeover and I don’t think it will be her last. Meanwhile, in the groom’s room, Heath and his buddy were roasting because the air conditioner broke. They drew the shades in an effort to cool the place down a bit. On the coffee table was a bottle of Black Barrel Jameson, one shot glass, and a pack of Marlboros—all the wedding day essentials. When I say that this is a fun couple, I mean it.

Soon it was time to travel to the venue and wait for the bride and groom to arrive. Guests began to pile in and find their seats for the ceremony. Looking over the crowd, all you could see was a sea of smiles and happy tears.

Everyone was a fan of the tropical theme. Many said they were so excited to finally have the perfect opportunity to wear their Hawaiian shirts and dresses. Everyone enjoyed their meals among beautiful tropical flowers and twinkle lights. For the finale, the newlyweds hit the dance floor for the money dance! During this time, guests are able to come up to the couple and pin cash to their clothing in exchange for a dance. Chelsea CLEANED UP.

You know how people say to marry your best friend? That is what Heath and Chelsea did. They are proof that this is sage advice. I hope you enjoy scrolling their wedding day as much as I did shooting it. Congratulations Chelsea and Heath!
