Styled Elopement with Eryn and Elliot at Annie’s Canyon in Solana Beach, California
Love has never looked so good.
My amazing photographer friend Kylie texted me one day saying she had bought a dress and found a couple to model for a styled elopement shoot and asked if I wanted to tag along. Of course I said yes - any excuse to use my camera and hang with cool people. Early one morning, Kylie, Eryn, Elliot, and I met at the trailhead of Annie’s Canyon in Solana Beach. We chit chatted as we cruised down the trail to the slot canyon. If you’ve never been, 10/10 recommend. The trail through the canyon is easy and beautiful, just narrow.
San Diego experienced more rainfall this winter than ever before probably so mud was a concern, but surprisingly it wasn’t too bad! It was expected, however, that the beautiful white dress would get a little dirty. Once Eryn and Elliot finished changing off trail, we dove right in. These two were naturals in front of the camera and it was such an awesome experience shooting alongside Kylie. I love shooting with other photographers from time to time because you can bounce ideas off of each other, learn from each other, and see two different styles of photography result from shooting the same subject. How cool is that?!
