On Campus Graduation Portraits with Jena at San Diego State University

TikTok is fun, but it also brings people together. That is how Jena found me and THANK GOODNESS. This bundle of sunshine is the definition of my ideal client. Jena mentioned she was nervous coming into the shoot but we clicked immediately and she was so natural in front of the camera! We explored the San Diego State University campus and found some spectacularly photogenic spots. It was the perfect evening for a photo shoot.
A huge landmark on campus is Hepner Hall so of course we had to get some photos there, but we were not the only ones. A line of graduates and their photographers formed in front of the building and it was worth the wait. It was finally our turn right as the sun was setting - just in the nick of time! The people in front of us also asked if we would like their extra confetti and as you can see in the gallery below, we accepted their offer.
This is such a beautiful campus and I am so honored to have been the one to capture this monumental moment in Jena’s life. She is officially a Magna Cum Laude graduate with a degree in Kinesiology WOOHOO! Thank you TikTok algorithm for bring us together.
