Mid-Century Modern Portrait Photoshoot with TGS Collective in the Hollywood Hills

Summertime happiness.

This is my ideal Saturday—hanging out poolside with my people and my camera in the Hollywood hills. If I was the star of the movie Groundhog Day and this was the day I was reliving over and over… I wouldn’t be too bummed about it!

I made the drive from San Diego to attend this meet-up. After two and a half hours, I took a right down a residential street and there it was—the Hollywood sign! This was the first time I had seen it with my own eyes. Up the hill I went, through the narrow, winding streets with beautiful homes on each side. What do these people do and how do they do it, am I right? Finally, I pulled up to our shoot location *heart eyes emoji.*

I should’ve taken some photos of the house for you but I got distracted! Colorful, fun decor AND a pool? Sign me up. This place was fantastically retro and on the side of a cliff which guarantees a pretty awesome photoshoot.

This meet-up was organized by TGS Collective and featured a styling rack from Effervescent Collective. The fashion, the location, and the people are like puzzle pieces and on this day, they all fit perfectly. This was my fifth TGS collective meet-up and sadly the last; however, I couldn’t imagine a better finale.

I am here for all things content. Let’s plan a shoot, get creative, and have a blast doing it! Contact me to book.
