Pooja and Harsh’s courthouse wedding at Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego was intimate, laid-back, and full of looooove. They wanted their wedding photos to feel real—natural portraits, wide shots to take in the scenery, and plenty of moments with their closest family and friends. They’re a couple of techies from Seattle who fell in love with San Diego on a vacation and decided it was the perfect place to elope. They exchanged vows under a beautiful floral arch just outside the courthouse, surrounded by their people—no stress, no chaos, just them soaking it all in.

After the ceremony, we kicked things off with group portraits—laughs, hugs, and celebrating. I could feel how much their people adored them. Once we wrapped up the group shots, I swept Pooja and Harsh away for some intimate couples portraits around the park. Just them, fully present in their first moments as a married couple.
Sunset by the Water
Then came the grand finale: the sunset. We crossed the street to the waterfront, and San Diego delivered. The sky turned this insane mix of pinks and oranges, the boats rocked gently in the harbor, and everything just felt right. Pooja’s dress caught the light beautifully and is worthy of anyone’s Pinterest board who is searching for a stunning non-traditional wedding dress.
