Sunrise Senior Portrait Session at Matthew/Winters Park in Golden, Colorado

Rise and shine class of 2022!
The date was August 17th, the day before Emma’s first day of senior year. The sun was rising as I pulled up to Matthew/Winters Park just down the road from Red Rocks Amphitheater. I think the last time I was up before the sun was when I was in high school funnily enough. I breathed in the fresh mountain air and watched as Emma and her sister Erin drove into the lot.
How did I meet Emma? I have to thank her dad and my aunt for that. They met, fell in love, got married, and I was blessed with three lovely cousins—Emma, Erin, and Kate. I am so honored to capture this moment in time for Emma and eager to do the same for Erin next year and Kate later down the road!
I don’t know how she did it, but Emma looked as beautiful as ever at 6:00 in the morning. Meanwhile, I looked like I had just rolled out of bed because let’s be honest… that is exactly what happened. Was it worth it? YES. The early golden hour lighting is *chef’s kiss.* Take a look for yourself!
Are you or someone you know graduating next year? Time to book a senior portrait session to capture this moment in time before they begin the next chapter of their life! Shoot me a message here.
