Desert Editorial Photo Shoot with TGS Collective in Joshua Tree, California
To the desert we go.
Social media has become a huge part of our modern lives. It can be dangerous, but also a very powerful tool. There are so many creatives offering support and encouragement from all over the globe. I am grateful to have stumbled upon one such creative, Alex Morehouse, the founder of TGS Collective. This girl is WELL-ROUNDED. She is a stylist, influencer, photographer, model, interior designer, freelancer. If that isn’t enough, she also hosts the occasional meetup group where artists come together and make art.
When I saw a post on my feed about a meetup in Joshua Tree, I knew I had to be there. I wanted to do a photoshoot in Joshua Tree since I first moved to California. I remember visiting for the first time and being blown away by the landscape. I had just left home to find a new one and what a great welcome this place was. I had not been back to Joshua Tree since my first visit a couple years back, but it was certainly worth the wait.
Thank you Branden Ruiz for your expertise, talent, and eye for fashion. Thank you to KAPANAlife for lending us your beautiful property. Thank you Epic Car Rentals for providing us the coolest vehicles I have ever laid my eyes on. Thank you Melissa, Maris, Christy, Ursula, Rohze, and Analisse for modeling and inspiring us all. Thank you to my fellow photographers for your ideas and support. Thank you Alex for making it all happen. It is an experience I will not soon forget.
