Analog Record Shop Photo Shoot with TGS Collective in Long Beach, California

Southern California Portrait Photographer

Girl, put your records on.

Do you want to know one of the best things about living in California? There is a community for everyone. There is no shortage of passion and connection in this beautiful place. Sure, the weather is great, but that does not compare to how great the people are.

Photography meetups have been a wonderful way to network and practice my craft. I have met so many talented models, photographers, and content creators through these gatherings. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 taking over the world, it has been much more difficult to collaborate. Thankfully, we have hard working, responsible organizers like Alex Morehouse of TGS Collective who adapted and created a safe space for creators.

This was my second TGS Collective meetup and certainly not the last. The photoshoot location was at Analog Record Shop in Long Beach, California. Each model was styled by Branden Ruiz, a very talented fashion director and style consultant (obviously, I mean, look at these outfits). The location also did not disappoint. The decor was straight out of my Pinterest board and the lighting was dreamier than I could have imagined. The rays of sunshine bursting through the windows were ideal for shadow experimentation.

It was very refreshing to get out of my San Diego bubble for a day, meet new people, and relieve stress by having loads of fun and making some art. By social distancing, wearing masks, and utilizing hand sanitizer, we can fight this virus and continue living our best lives.
